Microsphere Technology Platform
Pellets are tiny ball-shaped pills about 1 millimeter wide, usually less than 2.5 millimeters. They can be put inside capsules or pressed into tablets. Using different recipes and manufacturing techniques, these pellets can be made to release medicine quickly, slowly, or in other special ways.
Osmotic Pump Technology Platform
This technology uses a core containing medicine and osmotic agents, coated with a semi-permeable membrane. When the core absorbs water, it swells and pushes the drug solution out through a small release hole.
