On the morning of January 8, 2019, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council held the National Science and Technology Awards Ceremony in Beijing. Leaders from the Party and the state, including Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Wang Huning, and Han Zheng, attended the ceremony. Xi Jinping and other leaders presented awards to the winners. Li Keqiang, on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, delivered a speech.
Jiangxi Qingfeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was awarded the Second Prize at the 2018 National Science and Technology Progress Award. Dr. Xie Ning represented the company at the award ceremony. The project in question, "Establishing and Applying Key Technologies for Modern Research of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formulas Based on a Holistic View," is dedicated to the modernization of TCM formulas. The project has gradually established a research system that aligns with both the characteristics of TCM and international standards, providing guidance for systematic research on 40 other TCM compound formulas and supporting the development of more than 60 domestic companies. The research findings are crucial for the modernization and global integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and will play a key role in advancing TCM on the world stage.
